Iranian FM Salehi show hapiness during meeting with first gay German foreign minister Westerwelle

The Iranian television show in its news bulletin of Monday 5 December , scenes of hand shaking and friendly talking of Ali Akbar Salehi with German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle during a conference on Afghanistan , to demonstrate the good Iran-German relation , few days after attack on British embassy in Tehran HERE .

Islamic Republic Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in Saudi Arabia

Despite high  tension between Islamic Republic and Suadi Arabia Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has left Tehran for the Saudi capital of Riyadh to attend the funeral of the late Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz.

Salehi left Tehran for Riyadh early Tuesday afternoon, heading a delegation to attend Abdul Aziz's funeral, IRIB reported.

On Sunday, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad offered condolences to Saudi Arabian King Abdullah over the demise of Saudi crown prince.

In a message,  Ahmadinejad said he hoped that God would grant the bereaved family the patience to bear the loss.

Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, who was next in line to the Saudi throne, died at the age of 81 at a New York hospital on Saturday.

Bin Abdul Aziz had served as the defense minister of the Saudi kingdom for the past five decades.

In July, the ailing Saudi crown prince underwent an operation in a New York hospital.
